We help owners and buyers across the country find the right lender, structure a better deal and get to closing with less stress.
How we work
Financing is one part of a deal. The price, the franchise agreement, the renovation plan and insurance all change what a lender will do. We look at all of it the way an owner would, then find the capital that fits.
You pay us nothing. We're paid by the lender when your loan closes, and we disclose that compensation wherever the rules require it (for example, on SBA loans).
What we are, and what we are not
We are a financing broker and advisor. We are not a lender, bank, insurance agency, law firm or investment adviser. Lenders make their own credit decisions, and you rely on your own legal, tax and accounting advisers.

Sohum Patel
Sohum brings institutional transaction experience to every deal. Before joining Star Advantage Funding in 2026, Sohum spent four years in investment banking at William Blair and Jefferies, most recently as an associate in the Jefferies Global Industrials Group, working on transactions for companies and their investors. Sohum previously held FINRA Series 79 and 63 registrations and studied at Indiana University Bloomington.
